February 3rd marks the Big Game and also has earned the title of America’s 2nd biggest eating holiday – hope you have something fun planned! To help you and your readers prepare for your upcoming football parties, I wanted to share some great recipe ideas from Whole Foods Market.

To kick things off, February 1-3 marks Whole Foods Market’s chicken wings sale with 54 oz. buckets of buffalo or BBQ chicken wings on sale for only $7.99. These wings come from chickens raised without antibiotics, added hormones, or animal byproducts in their feed. They also come from farms certified to Global Animal Partnership’s 5-Step™ Animal Welfare Rating program.
Feeling ambitious? Impress even the foodie-est football fan with these winning recipes.
· Slow-cooked pulled pork sandwiches – try Wellshire Farms or Niman Ranch’s pre-pulled pork.
· Spicy Beef Chili – this is the classic, but guests will love any of these variations made with bison or turkey. Just remember, leave plenty of time for these chilis to simmer so flavors can meld.
· Dry-aged beef – Your savviest guests will know it by its tender texture and extra-steaky flavor. Simply coat in salt and pepper and grill (or pan sear). Slice thinly and allow guests to sample this luxurious bite.
· Ribs. Beef or pork, country-style or classic. Sink your teeth in and don’t be afraid to get it all over you – you’ll wash it off with tears of victory. Two of our favorite recipes: spice-rubbed beef short ribs and Asian-style baby back ribs.

Or, my personal (and totally biased) suggestion: Beecher’s Cheese selection of cheeses and cocktails.
